Student Ministry (Grades 6-12)
Providence believes God has designed the local church as the context where all people can know God and grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is our desire as a church to come alongside parents to help them disciple their kids as well as to come alongside their kids to teach them God’s Word, to encourage them in a relationship with Christ, and to challenge them to grow in their faith.
Here is what PBC’s Student Ministry looks like:
1. Sunday School, 9:30 a.m.-10:15 A.M.
We meet on Sunday mornings to study God’s word and apply it to our lives.
2. Sunday Evening Youth Group, Last Sunday of the Month, 6:00 p.m.
We meet on the first Sunday of every month in the Student Ministry Basement for pizza and a time of reflection on the morning sermon.
Students are also welcome to come to our Sunday Evening Prayer and Praise Service at 6:00 p.m. in the Parlor.
3. Youth Events*
Once a month we meet for fellowship by taking various trips during the year such as Christian concerts, white water rafting, and other recreational events.
*All sixth-twelfth grade students are welcome to these events with the consent of their parents.
