What To Expect
COME ON OVER!
Welcome to Providence! You’re in for a genuinely warm welcome and an enthusiastic worship experience. Here are a few other things you’ll notice:
Parking: We have two parking lots. If you’re coming from Route 7 /Lewinsville Road, the first lot on your left is adjacent to the worship center. The second lot on your left leads to our administrative offices and education wing.
Preschool Nursery: Park in the front (first) lot and enter through the double doors leading to the worship center. Take the circular hallway to the left and it will lead you to the preschool nursery desk. Our leaders will welcome you and your child, and orient you about basic procedures for taking care of children and locating parents in case of an emergency.
Worship: If you have a Bible, bring it with you. Our sermons are drawn directly from the Word of God. Texts are also projected onto worship center screens as well. Our musical format draws on contemporary Christian, Gospel, as well as traditional hymns. We’re not simply trying to include all ages, but all nations as well.
Comfortable attire is always appropriate. Ties and jackets are not necessary. Kids’ Worship flyers with busy activities are available for Elementary boys and girls.
Welcome Gifts: Please pick up a free Providence Coffee Mug as you depart on Sunday morning. It’s our gift to you as an expression of thanks, and a reminder to return at the next opportunity.
Beyond Worship: we feature a variety of Life Groups that range from Sunday morning classes to in-home get-togethers scattered all over town during the week. Inquire at the Welcome Center just inside the front lobby and you’ll be provided with a complete list of friendly Life Groups. We guarantee that one will fit your schedule.
