On COVID-19 and Your Safety
Last Sunday, Providence had roughly 370 available seats. This leaves plenty of space for members and guests to worship and still have room for social distancing.
Adhering to State Mandates
For everyone's safety, Providence will strictly adhere to all of the state's mandatory guidelines for church services, which includes disinfecting surfaces, wearing face coverings, social distancing, and more.
The Safety of Children
For the safety of children and children's workers, Providence will not provide Children's Ministry for the foreseeable future. However, we always welcome children in our worship services. We provide biblical, colorful, and interactive handouts to help keep kids content during the service. Additionally, we have shortened our worship service in order to make it more kid-friendly during the pandemic.
Celebrating the Lord's Supper (Communion)
When celebrating the Lord's Supper (Communion) on the last Sunday of every month, Providence will use single-serve, individually wrapped Communion elements for the celebration of the Lord's Supper together. The individually-wrapped elements will not be distributed; instead, each individual will pick up their own Communion elements.
