We have exciting news! Starting Sunday, January 5, 2020, Providence is changing its Sunday worship service time to 10:30 a.m. and its Adult Sunday School to before the worship service at 9:30 a.m.
This news helps Providence improve its ministry in a number of ways:
- More Fellowship: Moving Adult Sunday School from after service to before service allows us more time to visit with guests and with one another after church, as well as to go to lunch together after service and to have church-wide luncheons right after service without having to postpone Adult Sunday School
- More Convenient for Families with Young Children: The new service time allows Providence to end its Sunday morning Adult Sunday School and Worship service by lunch time, which means young children can eat lunch sooner rather than later. Currently, our kids don't get out of Children's Ministry for Adult Sunday School until close to 1:00 p.m., which can leave moms and dads with very hungry children.
- More Efficient for Children's Ministry: The new service times will shorten the time between Adult Sunday School and Service, which means increasing efficiency and ease for our faithful Children's Ministry Workers.
- Improved Members' Meetings: The new service time allows Providence to hold Members' Meetings shortly after service and earlier in the day, which means increased attendance and productivity.
